UKLA BOOK AWARDS 2017

Some photos to share from the UKLA International Conference in Glasgow earlier this month. I was there for the presentation of 'Our Class Loves This Book: The John Downing Award 2017'.

A big thanks again to the UKLA for selecting 'Atlas of Adventures' for the award, and to Neston Primary School for creating such an amazing display of work in response to the book.

'Atlas of Adventures' on display in the UKLA bookshop

Examples of work from Neston Primary School students, created in response to spreads from 'Atlas of Adventures'. Class projects included: building famous London landmarks, interviewing the Mona Lisa in Paris, and writing diary entries from an Antarctic expedition to see the Emperor Penguins!   

HOUSE OF ILLUSTRATION SUMMER FAIR

This Sunday 9th July from 12-6pm, myself and good pal Helen Hancocks will be flogging our wares down at the House of Illustration's Summer Fair in Kings Cross.

We'll be selling lots of illustrated goods, including signed copies of all our books - plus postcards, prints, badges and much more!
