NOMAD CINEMA: SUMMER SCREENINGS

UKLA BOOK AWARDS





Last week I received the exciting news that 'Atlas of Adventures' has been shortlisted for the UKLA Book Awards 2016! 

A big thanks to UKLA for the nomination. It's an honour to be included on the list, especially alongside all the other great children's books in my category (age 7 - 11). For more information about the award and to look at the complete shortlist please click hereJudging takes place over the next couple of months, with the winners announced at the UKLA 52nd International Conference in Bristol on 8th July. EDUCATIONAL WRITER'S AWARD 2015

Hello all! Some exciting news to share…

Earlier this month, 'Atlas of Adventures' won the 2015 Educational Writer's Award - the UK's only award for educational writing! The award was presented to myself and Rachel Williams by Ed Vaizey MP, Minister of State for Culture, at the House of Commons' Winter Reception. 

It was such a surprise and honour to have won, and a really nice way to round off the year! Thanks again to ALCS and the Society of Authors for a great evening, and for all their support of the book. Click here to read more about the awards, and here to see some more photos from the night. 'ATLAS OF ADVENTURES' ACTIVITY FUN PACK

Hello everyone! Some belated news to share…

Back in August my latest book, 'Atlas of Adventures Activity Fun Pack' was published.
The book features 15 colouring-in spreads of different things to see and do around the world (including 7 continent maps), and is packed full of fun facts! It also comes with a large pull-out reversible poster, plus a sheet of adventure stickers. Some photos of the book can be seen below:

KRUMULUS EXHIBITION

Last month I travelled to Berlin for the opening of 'Atlas der Abenteuer' at the Krumulus gallery & bookstore. Below are a selection of photos from the exhibition. A BIG thanks to everyone who came, and to Anna at Krumulus for organising the show - I had a great time!
