ELLE COLLECTIONS: FASHIONIMALS

Earlier this month I was asked by ELLE Collections magazine to create some stickers for their latest issue. The theme was 'Fashionimals': fashion people as animals! My three illustrations can be seen below - see if you can guess which designers they're meant to be!

FARRELLS CHRISTMAS CARD 2014

This year's Christmas card design for the architects Terry Farrell & Partners.

As well as having a Christmas theme, the design also had to encompass three important anniversaries for Farrells in 2015. I added each of these to the three biggest baubles on the tree, along with a few other references to Farrells' buildings and achievements over the years. See how many you can spot!

NEW WORK

A selection of drawings from a new book I've been working on recently, due out next year.

More info to follow soon!

POSTCARD CLUB III

Another postcard swap I did for Postcard Club, this time with artist Tim Furey.

Tim sent me this amazing abstract collage (I particularly love the bits of glittered paper), and I sent Tim some reversible crocodiles!

STORYSTOCK FESTIVAL

Last Thursday I was invited to run an 'Atlas of Adventures' workshop, as part of the Storystock children's festival at Bush Theatre.

The aim of the workshop was for children to create their own adventure map, using the world map from 'Atlas of Adventures' as a base. First we looked through the book together, and talked about some of the different adventures & images from around the world. Then children drew their own adventure icons, using inspiration from the book, or from some of their own adventures they'd been on. Finally, we pieced together everyone's drawings and made some amazing new adventures! A selection of photos from the workshop can be seen below.

A big thanks to Storystock and to everyone who came along, I had a great time!
