THE NOMAD CINEMA

Recently I was asked to design a series of postcards for The Nomad Cinema's summer film festival, as a giveaway to ticket holders and projected at the beginning of each film. The selection of films I illustrated were all screened outdoors in London's Queens Park, so I thought it would be a nice idea to set each image there. See if you can guess the film above!

ATLAS OF ADVENTURES

Hello everyone! Some exciting news to share with you…

Since the beginning of March I have been hard at work on a new big project. After many months of drawing, I can now announce that my first book for children, 'Atlas of Adventures' will be out in the UK this October (published by Wide Eyed Editions).

'Atlas of Adventures' is a large format picture book, displaying a collection of over 30 different illustrated adventures from around the world. Some of the adventures I had to illustrate include: visiting the penguins in Antarctica, joining the carnival in Brazil, and even taking a canoe safari down the Zambezi River! Each spread has lots of things to spot and interesting facts about every destination for readers (young and old!) to learn. 

It was a really fun project to work on and I'm looking forward to seeing it in book form later this year. More info and images will follow soon, but for now here is a sneak peek of the front cover!

THE UNNATURAL CYCLIST

A couple of spot illustrations I did a while back for 'Boneshaker' magazine, Issue 14. These were to accompany 'The Unnatural Cyclist' - a funny article about some of the writer's hair-raising experiences on a bicycle, and her determination to persevere on two wheels regardless!
